This side has been lifted off the ground with new pillars under the main posts and inbetween. Ok the ply siding may not be authentic looking butt sure keeps out the weather. Most of the battens have been replaced since this photo and the wood could be treated again to tone it down a little more but it is ok. Roof shingles were new back in the early 90's with a 25 year warranty, so I was told, they certainly look good.
The above picture gives a good idea of how the floor structure was raised back to a flatter profile, new joists and re-built pillars with re-positioned floor boards now provide an excellent surface to drive on.
The owner insisted on the plywood, and why not it provides a much more continuous seal against the outdoors!
